WellPeach designs, builds and publishes its own iOS and Android apps from Seoul, South Korea. Camera, sleep, productivity and lifestyle tools — most of them running entirely on the device, with no account and nothing sent anywhere.
Why the name
Economists describe a market for lemons as one where buyers cannot tell good from bad. Unable to judge, they pay the average price — and the good sellers, who cannot earn what their work is worth, quietly leave. What is left is the lemons.
A peach is the other one: the product whose quality you can actually see. That is the market we want to build in, so we try to make our own work legible — plain about what an app does, what it costs, and what it never touches.
